Raelia Lewis was a contestant on cycle 21 of ANTM in 2014. She was the ninth model eliminated and placed seventh overall.

Early Life[]

Raelia was scouted at fifteen years old, and was first signed to Icon Models.[1] She put modeling on hold to focus on her studies at Parkway Center City High School. In 2009, at eighteen years old and working on an associate's degree in mass communications at Philadelphia Community College, she took it up again. She auditioned for the show three times, and also tried out for "The Face".[2]

ANTM[]

Since the beginning of the cycle, Raelia struggled with her poor speech skills, and had to be subtitled in most of the early episodes. She was the eleventh model called to the final cast. In episode three, she struggled at the wet & wild photoshoot because it triggered a childhood memory of her drowning.

In episode five, she fell on her knees at the stilts runway. This caused her to have one of the lowest challenge scores, but she redeemed herself at the Spider Byte commercial, with Tyra saying it was her favorite of the bunch. In episode seven, she was the first person who Will told about Denzel's homophobia. She immediately confronted Denzel about it. Later, she overheard Mirjana talking smack about her at the frostbitten photoshoot, and the two yelled at each other in the limo ride home. She was in the bottom two, but had a higher score than Kari.

In episode nine, she booked two shows in the go-see challenge, but accidentally stopped on the middle of the runway during the actual show. Later, she and Will had the best pair photo at the Mitch Stone campaign shoot, and they would be featured on the Mitch Stone website. In episode ten however, she was too scared during the slaughterhouse challenge, and yet again had one of the lowest challenge scores. She had a lack of energy at the HIV awareness shoot, but was saved over Mirjana in the bottom two.

When the models are taken to South Korea, she won the K-Pop dancing challenge, but was seen as too sexy at the MCM bag photoshoot. Her poor photo landed her yet another bottom two placement, this time with Comeback Series winner Chantelle. She was eliminated with a 0.4 point difference.
