Before Top Model
Furonda Brasfield was from Stuttgart, Arkansas and graduated from The University of Arkansas in 2005. Before appearing as a contestant on Top Model, Furonda had already had some experience in modeling. She used to be a phone sex operator.
America's Next Top Model
At the age of twenty-four, Furonda appeared as a contestant on America's Next Top Model, Cycle 6. In the sixth episode, Brasfield won a challenge and her reward was a guest spot on the UPN show Veronica Mars. She also won the opportunity to record a public service announcement about HIV prevention, a prize which she shared with fellow contestant Nnenna Agba. Furonda reached the final five before being eliminated from the show.
Since Top Model, Furonda has signed with L.A. Models. Her runway shows include Absolut Fashion Show 2006. She has also modelled for Op Swimwear.
